Compass Minerals (NYSE: CMP) president and CEO Angelo Brisimitzakis
presented Kansas Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) with the National
Association of Manufacturers Award for Manufacturing Legislative
Excellence. This award recognizes Roberts's consistent support of
manufacturers and their employees across the United States.

The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) presents this award to
members of Congress who maintained a voting record of 70 percent or
higher during the 111th Congress (2009-2010). Roberts
received a 92 percent key vote rating. Key manufacturing votes for the
111th Congress included energy policy, taxes, regulations and
labor law reform, among others.
NAM is the largest manufacturing association in the United States,
representing manufacturers in every industrial sector and in all 50
states. Dr. Brisimitzakis is on its board of directors.
