Compass Minerals (NYSE:CMP) has appointed Brad Griffith senior vice
president, plant nutrition, effective Aug. 29, 2016.

Griffith will lead Compass Minerals’ plant nutrition division and
deliver on the division’s growth and profitability objectives. Griffith
will work with the plant nutrition team to drive product innovation,
strengthen customer relationships, and build improved sales and
distribution strategies.

Griffith comes to Compass Minerals from Monsanto and brings valuable
agriculture marketing experience in the areas of product development,
new product commercialization, sales and marketing, and global strategy.
He was at Monsanto since 2008, most recently as vice president, global
strategic accounts where he was responsible for fostering relationships
with key customers. Previously Griffith had a lengthy career in
pharmaceutical and medical sales, where he held positions of increasing
responsibility, most recently at Sanofi-Aventis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as
pilot lead.
Griffith holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois,
Champaign-Urbana. He earned his MBA from Washington University, John M.
Olin School of Business in St. Louis, Missouri.
